Fortis Leadership Group was founded by Roger Peace to close a specific gap. Most leaders don't struggle because they lack ambition. They struggle because ambition without clarity turns into busy work, and busy work doesn't build a company.
“Fortis” is Latin for strong, disciplined, and brave. Those three words shape how we work with every client: we tell you the truth, we build the structure to act on it, and we stay close enough to help you carry it through.

About Roger Peace
Roger’s path to founding Fortis wasn’t a straight line, and he’s grateful for every mile of it.
He spent nearly two decades in ministry leadership, rising through the ranks to eventually serve as President of one of the country’s most respected ministry training organizations. That season taught him what it looks like to lead people who are driven by calling, not just a paycheck, and how much a clear plan and real structure can multiply that kind of passion rather than let it go to waste.
From there, Roger moved into the business world, leading client services inside the custom home building industry. It was a different environment entirely — fast-paced, project-driven, high-stakes — but the same lesson kept showing up in a new form: the organizations that scaled well were the ones with a real system behind the vision, not just talent and hustle.
Both experiences pointed toward the same conviction, and eventually that conviction became something Roger wanted to build full time. He founded Fortis Leadership Group to bring that same clarity to other leaders. I’ve sat across the table from founders with nothing but an idea, and leaders running seven-figure operations who needed the next layer of structure. The work looks different at each stage, but the need is the same: clarity, structure, and someone willing to stay through the build.
Today, Roger consults with organizations across the full spectrum — from concept-stage startups to established enterprises — across organizational structure, strategic planning, executive coaching, and client services.
Beyond the Office
Roger is a husband, a father of four, and a grandfather of two — and most weekends you will find him right in the middle of that crowd. He holds two things close: making much of Jesus, and anything that takes a little gasoline and makes a lot of noise. If there is an engine involved somewhere nearby, there is a good chance Roger is standing next to it.
